Want to install miniBB Forums

I want to add a forum for my site, but have no experience in php. Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I am going to attempt it anyway. I do have a couple of questions before I start.

I was thinkning to use miniBB, as it is described as small and easy to use. What are your recomendations for forums? miniBB? phpbb? others?

Do I create a database before I start? And how detailed do I get? Do I need to define fields and such?

I'm a complete newb to this, so any help will be appreciated.

LOL, answered my own questions. I went into Fantastico and installed phpbb. When I opened my account here I could not get in, so I thought that was a paid service.

I am now just waiting for my php to be upgraded.

For future reference, you must create a MySQL database before running the install file (unless you are using a Fantastico script in which it'll write the database for you).
