If you do, there are a few things you must have:

:1: A, or multiple, GMail accounts (preferred new/empty, pm me for new invite)
:2: GMail Drive download at: http://www.procomputertech.net/gmailfs107.zip

What to do: Have the GMail account, extract the files in the zip folder to a new file, then, go to the folder the file were extracted to and click on Setup, a window that has a title of "Windows Setup" or sumthing like that should appear, followed by a window that most know as a Windows help file, meaning that you are ready. Now, go to the my computer folder, and under other you will have a "drive" called GMail Driver, click it, enter the login details, and now you have a drive you can place files on, imagine, say, 50 GMail accounts, that is 1,000 GB of storage, WOW!

Cool, points are always apperichated, and, if you have Linux, you can even INSTALL files on your GMail account, and access them from your computer. I will make another thread on the shortly. If you need any help, ask here.

I have a question how much space do you have?
And is there some way to configure it so that I don't recieve an email for each file I upload?

Ok, so basicaly, you have 2 GB of space per GMail account, and you can configure it to not auto log in, so you can use unlimited GMail accounts, so, basicly unlimited space. Nope, sorry, you can't not get the email, but the email is good because it allows you to download the file without having the GMail Drive open.

Yes you can remove it from your "Main" email. You will need to set up a filter, and filter out all emails with the subject "GMailFS" into a folder of your choice. So if you want to see your files, just click on your GmailFS folder.

Actually you can create new accounts at https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount
without people inviting you. And the program only limits you to 10mb per file upload which is not quite useful for me. Also, the name is a restriction meaning you have to keep the name of you file short or they just wont upload.

so you could use this as a webserver and use it as a website, with some tweaking.

No, this is not illegal, however, I do mot encourage you to make more than a few GMail account, as I think GMail limits it to one anyway. Also, it isn't illegal because basicaly all it is doing is sending an attactment to your GMail address, at least, I think that is all it does. What I really want though is too make it to where you could use GMail as a virtual drive for Windows, since currently it is only available to Linux users to do that.

Actually, when you log out of your gmail account there will be a counter on the log out screen that keeps going up this is the space on your drive going up. Leave it long enough and it will eventually go up to 3 gig I bet.

Nothing is unlimited.
People claim there is unlimited water...
Well infact its from the sea and lakes!
And it get's recycled all the time.

Or an other fact...
Power is unlimited
Ask you're self a question.
What is power?

Even google has not unlimited disk space.
Example there is 25000 users using multiple accounts such as 3..
25000 x 3 = 750000 and they all create another one for 6gb virtual space....
And the space of gmail is 3gb...
It would be 30.000.00 gb with is 30 terabyte.
And the server has for example 1gb upstream and all of those people would be online that would take ages to load google or gmail himself.

Infact its an Denial Of Dos attack if all those people are doing it.

I would love to use it but i am aggainst it because it only overloads google!

You know, if I were interested in Gmail..

I would just get it. No fuss over price, plans, or limits. You get what you get, that´s that. Deal with it. Don´t try and find haphazard and sometimes destructive means to get around the price of something, or the limit of something. It never works out.
