Warning: posix_uname() has been disabled

On my site, http://meteoportugal.x10hosting.com , I keep getting an error message when trying to load the main page of my MediaWiki. It says that posix_uname is disabled for security reasons. However, I have PHP v5 basic configuration with Upgrade pending to intermediate. Why is this not working?

The main page of mediawiki is http://meteoportugal.x10hosting.com/mediawiki-1.11.2/

Once you have the intermediate version of PHP it will work.

How long is the process, the update is pending at few days?
