Web Portal Problem

Recently I have installed joomla, version 1.0.1 to my site, however, once I chang ethe setting via ACP, it show this message

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /home/index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.gamerzproz.x10hosting.com Port 80

ANd why is it? I recently read that celin1994 also having joomla problem, and I have read through that threads and some members said use the default setting/permission ( I alwasy set to 777 ), so I didn't change. Can any one help me?

The server has problems sometimes, it best to ask a forum mod or admin about your portal a i dont know about it.

Yes, I am posting here to get some support, I really hope it work. I don't know I keep install and uninstall.. still fail.

It might be worth installing to different directory.

Second of all, give a few days, I had that problem with my images a while back, but after a few days it sorted itself out!

Did you install it to your public_html folder? Sometimes people don't.

Yes, I am, in [www] dir. which is same as public html

By the way, still didn't work. Please Help.
