Web site still inaccessable

Am receiving the following message on my home page

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Access denied for user 'ftas_ftas'@'lotus.x10hosting.com' (using password: YES)

After some help yesterday, still waiting for further support

Is your database properly configured?
Make sure the database server is set to 'localhost'
Make sure your username and password are also both set correctly.

it is set to local host thanks to the help i received yesterday, however I have not changed any password, so why would it suddenly stop working? how would i change it? or correct the problem?

This may be another hickup due to the server changes. I'd check http://status.x10hosting.com/ to see if there are any problems with Lotus at the moment.

If it were me,

I would open the config file, note the username, password and db name.

Go to cPanel, mySQL Databases.
1. make sure the db name is correct
2. drop the user from the DB and then delete entirely. The USER, NOT the DATABASE.
3. recreate the user with the same password. make sure you give it all permissions.
4. add the user back to the db.

See if it works.

The migration might have messed up the permissions or other stuff. Worth a try.

I have 3 databases, calendar, forum and photo gallery.

I can access all of them without trouble.

Its the web site itself I cannot access, will this suggestion fix the problem?
