Is there any new information about webdav support from x10hosting?

I tried webdav with the stable linux davfs2 driver without success. Download direction seem to work fine, but there is no real upload. It creates the files and folders but they are all 0Kb.

With mediacenter.gmx.net it works great.

I also tried it with Nautilus' integrated webdav support the which is described via the cpanel help but that does not work.
gmx does not work with nautilus too, but this is a server side bug know for years.

Would appreciate some up to date infos :)

Thx

Web disk via cPanel might be an alternative for you to use.

CPANEL is the only thing I can use, but it is not a comfortable drag and drop solution. FTP works but is out of date for security and performance reasons (despite it is faster than webdav for some simple file transfers).

I am going to test SFTP options as soon as I find some time, but I hoped there will be some improvement some time for the webdav support.

In this thread you telling webdav is not supported so I hoped their will be some soon.

Web disk is a drag and drop solution, it should create a virtual drive locally on your machine where you can drag and drop.

Sorry I mixed things. CPANEL WebDisk is that what I am using when I talk about WebDav. The only thing which works is the CPANEL File Manager.

So the ways I described above are the ones provided the the CPANEL WebDisk Help, which do not work !

Hope I cleared it a little bit.

Okay, so just to clarify... you can download stuff via web disk but can not upload, correct?
