Hello. I am trying to access a webdisc created under cpanel with no success...
Trying to connect through osx snow leopard's finder (go > connect to server).
Manually I can't figure out if I am doing some mistake, and the automatic script (downloadable from cpanel, is a zip that I can't open (it opens consecutive zips all over again....)
Also this zip mentions it is for 10.5 leopard...
Thanks.

Webdisk has been disabled indefinitely due to abuse by some users.

You should be able to connect finder to FTP, but it is read only (I have no idea why).

I would recommend getting an FTP client such as CyberDuck and using that instead.

Also, if you haven't installed a text editor you need to install one - you can't edit HTML in TextEdit. I would recommend TextWrangler.

@lemon-tree: Sorry for the off topic, but please can you check my thread in programming help? Ta.

I have never really understood why FTP in Finder on a Mac only supports reading, it is likely from the past when they were trying to push AFP instead.
If you want to write, you will need an FTP client like Flow, my personal favourite.

Thanks for the replies. I'll stick with filezilla for power volume updates, cyberduck for easy-to-use and small updates.
