is there a way to access the webmail without logging into the ACP???

I would suggest using a forwarder to a gmail account. Gmail allows you to have the address displayed under your domain name. It is much more convenient than logging into cpanel.

Or you could use it as a pop3 account with outlook, or your favorite pop3 program.

Some isp's block port 21, I also find that outlook is kinda slow. It took me a day to figure out that Frontier blocks 21.
