I have a request to increase my disk space, I need the space because my site is almost reaching 512mb with just a few pictures and site backup.

You should never save your backup on your site; it uses your space and if your site goes down you lose your backup. Make sure your pictures are optomised to the smallest size file needed. I you do these two items you will be suprised how much free space you have.
