Ok, here's my problem. Not really sure what's going on now, but from the info posted here: http://forums.x10hosting.com/232655-post61.html I know it's not caused by current maintance. My problem is... Every time I try to manually install phpBB, I get:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@gloriousls.elementfx.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I'm not sure if it's on my end or not, but it also happens when I try to install phpBB through Fantastico in my cPanel. My forums were working great until the migration started, then it just suddenly started feeding me 500 errors. I thought perhaps my database was corrupt, so I managed to back up what I needed to, and was greeted with the 500 error when I went to reinstall a clean copy of phpBB.

My actual website works great though: GloriousLS.ElementFX.com

I've got intermediate level PHP, and I requested an upgrade to level 3 for a contact us form I've been trying to intergrate into phpBB, but it's just at the intermediate level at the moment. Also, I made sure the phpBB directory has the correct permisions set to it (was suggested that could be a cause), and everything is looking ok... Not sure what's going on though.

Any help would be greatly apriciated. :happysad: I know the staff has their hands full with the migration fallout and everyone else having issues, so get to me when you guys can. :) I'm only here out of your generosity afterall.

Anything admin panel related, with the exception of viewing it. It gives me the error when ever I'm trying to save settings, or write to the database. Posting functions still work fine... but it's hard to post when I can't create any forums. ;) I have used Fantastico to uninstall the original forum, and reinstall a clean copy. It's also doing the same thing on a brand new clean install. If I try to install it manually, I get the same 500 error, is SQL down at the moment? I was getting similar errors when it was down before, but the status page says it's up now though.

That's usually caused by 1 of two things.

a. the php version you have
b. you need to chmod some files

hope i helped

Yes, but this is my problem. :) It was working great before the migration. I had it up and some members active on it, then the migration happened and all of a sudden the 500 errors started, my account panel says I'm at the same level of PHP I was before, and I haven't changed anything at all, should I need to change chmod if it was working fine before?

Looks to be fine, as I said, I haven't touched my forums, and I'm still in the same version of PHP that x10Hosting was providing me before the server migration.
Edit:
As an update... removed the phpBB through Fantastico again, and tried one last time. It worked... strangely... for about 5 minutes. And, now it's back to not working again. :dunno: I'm very confused as to what's going on. I didn't even change any settings, and it went from working, to not working. CHMOD is all setup right, I'm letting Fantastico set it up instead of manualy, clean install, but nothing. Could an admin verify that I'm on PHP intermediate?

We're updating the PHP now. Please post back in a few hours if you still have issues with it.
