I'm trying to use POP3 to retrieve mail from my server automatically. But the "configure webclient" doesn't list ports for incoming mail, only outgoing.

My input options are Userame, Password (which I know and have been able to use to send email from), POP Server, and Port.

Under ports 993 and 995 I get this error "Connection timed out: There may be a problem with the settings you added. Please contact your other email provider to verify the correct server name and port."

Under ports 110, 143, 1110, 2221 I get "Connection refused"

I've tried both absolut.x10hosting.com & mail.mydomain.x10.mx
I've tried the username as name@domain.x10.mx as well as name+domain.x10.mx and even just "name".

What is the right way to do this?

Well, that answer sure didn't help us basic users at all. Same problem here. Cannot get the mail thing correct. Does anyone at all know how to do this...for the basic settings, and data bases ? Sure would be helpful. I'm using a phpBB3 forum software. Can not get the mail to go through.
By the way, I tried the settings that was listed on the wiki. They didn't work either.

This has nothing at all to do with outbound mail from your application @dennysha; it's about hooking an email client up to your hosting account's email accounts. I have replied to you elsewhere regarding your issue.
