Please help me out tell me what you think would work best. (and if you know were i can get good templates for any of these for FREE please post a link)

PHP-Nuke seems the best and the popular one for Clan sites. Otherwise just make a plain old site.

Yeah, PHP Nuke is one of the best CMS for a clan site, but you bettter keep an eye on patchs, because new exploits being found nearly every week

Mambo is good too. And you can convert phpnuke skins into mambo ones Available in Fantastico

Mambo is good. Also if you really want one out of those 4 then go with php-nuke.
