If you're confused with the two-tiered points system we have here, let me explain more in detail:
Points (or vbBux) are your typical "forum shop" mod points; with enough points you can "buy" special privileges like underlining/bolding your username or changing the user title (the one that normally says "x10Hosting member"). You accrue points by posting stuff. These points are fully transferrable, and in the special Marketplace forum we have here, you can often see people exchanging points for designing a website or converting a bunch of GIFs into PNGs. But forum points are just that: These points hold no monetary value, and you can't exchange them for real money. This is the purpose of x10Cash.
x10Cash is a "frequent flyer miles" system for x10Hosting. You can get x10Cash by completing special offers (like filling out marketing surveys). When you have collected enough, x10Cash can be exchanged for all sorts of real-life stuff, like a free internet domain, a custom email address at "x10email.com", or even payments of up to $25 via PayPal. Unlike points, x10Cash is non-transferrable; however, you can convert points to x10Cash by going to Account -> Convert Points.
