I dunno, something about death metal and sticking it to da man (according to the media Death Metal increases the risk of violence in the future).

Kinda strange really, since they said if you listen to the lyrics it's supposed to be bad. "Hell is thy home, Darkness thy destiny. Where you belong, no place in history". I'm lost, this is supposed to make me kill people?

I guess I may be the "lone-gunman" here :

Country, 80s ( Dan Hill, Genesis, Cyndi Lauper, etc )
Classic Rock ( Pink Floyd and a few odd and end others )

I like a range of music and artists. Sometimes its only 1 or 2 songs from an artist. But I have to agree about that Death Metal that Livewire brought up ... what really is the point? Also, with music that all you hear is some type of lyric ( I have heard its considered scream music ) ...

Anything that has amazing guitare riffs in it, lots of drums, ands heavyness is ok in my books!

Emo stands for Emotional Rock. So in theory it could be the emotion of sadness, and anger towards people. But not all emo rock makes you want to kill yourslef! Emo's tend to be stereo typed as the sort of person who self harms, and we all know this is not neccessarily true! Just because you like that type of music, doesnt mean you slit your wrists, or want to kill yourself?!?!?

I put 'Other' as metal is not up there. Although I like most forms of rock, punk, metal, emo(there are very few emo bands I like!) etc

Only form of rock I do not enjoy is pop rock lol

I've never heard Emo, although I've noticed some heavy emotions in some of the songs I listen to. Nothing pure emo though :S

i think you shoulda made this a multiple-choice (checkmark) poll, not a one-choice poll. If All-American Rejects and Fallout Boy and Green Day is "emo" then i guess i sorta like that, but i'm not the kind of person that goes and cuts himself, i definitely don't have those sort of mental problems
