I use firefox almost always. When I screw up (by tinkering too much) to the point where I can't start X11, I use links to find documentation. I also use Opera on my really old laptop.

I've been using Firefox for over a year, and I've never had any problems with it. Superb Browser.

I use Firefox, I started using like three years ago, and it has always worked for me. I only use Internet Explorer when I want to check for cross-browser capabiliy.

I use Firefox, mainly because Internet Explorer lags way too much.

I use Opera 90% of the time and FireFox the next 10%
I also test and build my sites in Opera cause if it works there It will work in almost every other browser.

I use Firefox all the time. If I need to test or view a site in IE, I just use the IE tab extension. Firefox=slow? Nah.

Well a lot of people seem to use Firefox, that's exactly what i suspected...
But that's true, you should check how your site works in IE anyway for the other people that still use it.

Dude Firefox is slow after you use Opera. I'm saying this as a Firefox and Opera user. I use both but if I had to choose it would be Opera. Just give it a try(and i dont mean for 3 minz then uninstall)try it for a week or weekend, and if you go back to FireFox that fine too, every one got there own prefrence.

You're completely correct. On Windows, Firefox is much slower than Opera. If you have a few tabs open, there is a delay when opening/closing a tab during which Firefox seems to freeze. Opera doesn't have this problem; it seems the tabs open and close instantly no matter how many you've got open.

I use Firefox because it's open source, matches your chosen GUI on Linux, and is available in 64-bit. Opera, on the other hand, looks the same as it does on Windows so it looks out of place instead of matching your other applications. Opera isn't open source and there is no 64-bit version of Opera.
