Where do i change the look of my website and where to add a new domain..
well i see a topic name Can;t change the index page i read it and it link to other one and then it link to other one again , and i read it but i don;t understand >>>>..<<<< help plz or tell me some other forums !

Lol, its a blank page, and u build it ur self threw knolige of html php and etc. its not like freewebs were they have costume layouts, this is more advanced for people who know this kinda stuff. But have a go at it :biggrin:

I would suggest using fantastico. It has pre-made website options in it. All you would have to do is edit it for content. That would probably be the easiest way.

Well i already know about HTML and stuff and here is better website w3schools.com but my question is where do i put the HTML ??? the idex page ?? but it not working annymore !! what should i do???

put the code into index.html, and make sure it's in your root directory.

Yea i know but where do I do the root thing ?

I mean my index is not working and where do i get the root thing on my index ??

Your root directory is public_html.

ok so my "index.html" is not working .... and if i need to create a new "file" how do i link it??

Actually I use ftp it is a lot easier. You can also go to the file manager and put it in your www. folder, next to your cgi-folder. just dump everything there. There are free FTP softwares on the internet that make it fast and easy such as Filezilla, and cuteFTP.

I mean the index in public_html. is not working and if i create other one how do i "link"or"root" it to the domain??

Can you link to your problem? Did you delete the default index.html file we put in your account when you sign up?

my website is http://ksclan.x10hosting.com , and it show something but i can;t change it , because i delete it or i change the name ...
OK my index.html one is deleted and if there no file for the domain it will use index.html one right but there a one for the domain. like there one invisable i think and it make my website change , so should i delete EVERYTHING on file manager?

idk what happen and i don't think you know what i mean lol. so my website is http://ksclan.x10hosting.com and should i go to file manager or legacy file manager? can you tell me step by step how to delete everything and start over ???

You need to either upload the files into your public html folder in cpanel, or connect via ftp, and upload the files that way.
Ftp is what I would suggest, as it's faster.

*edit*
After viewing your site, it seems you have an index page, but it has no content.
You will need to add content, and if it contains links to any other files or folders, be sure to upload those files or folders too.

You name it index.html to link it to the root of your account.

well i name it index.html but it still showing the old one not the new one ..so i went to file manager and then new file, file type: HTML Doc. and name index.html then how do i link it ?

It's automatically linked. Delete your current index.html and then replace it with your new one. Make sure you are doing this in the public_html folder.
