Which Call of Duty version do you like better, 3 or 4?

Which Call of Duty version do you like better, 3 or 4?

I like 4 better, because it is cooler and 3 is not for the pc.

I was never a fan of the COD series until i started playing COD4...Knife kills are amazing. I remember one time in a deathmatch i won by only knife kills. you can imagine how pissed off everyone was. luckily after 2 more matches of that everyone in the game decided to go knives and nades only...boy was it a good time. if a new player joined, we would tell them the rules...no guns, and then if they fired everyone would team up and hunt them down, especially if they were sniping. good times! our ps3 broke and we are getting it back soon so hopefully ill be able to get back into my knifing streaks again!

I love knife too

Usually i use MP5 with uav jammer + silencer + steady aim and 1911 pistol.

Use 1911 to snipe enemy. Usually die in 6 shot
And use mp5 and knife for CQC

Haha. Sniping using pistol is very fun
The accuracy is just like G3.

Knife kills are awesome.

COD4 rocks! The best set for just killing with knife is: Juggernaut, Extreme Conditioning and Matrydom

Juggernaut makes you last longer so if someone is shooting near you, you can easily kill them knife first and extreme conditioning helps you run up to them faster before they can shoot you. Matrydom is a must need if you run into a group of enemies trying to knife

Call of Duty 4 cause it is for the PC and has a way better multiplayer. But both of them are really short so I probably prefer Call of Duty 2.

How does this stack up against half life 2 deathmatch and Quake 4. I'm trying to find the most fun multiplayer shooter. I also play UT2004, which is kinda old but it's still pretty fun.

CoD4. CoD3 was done by a different developer to the rest of the series, I believe.
CoD3 was... ok. Just newer version of CoD2 for console!

4. Knife kills are awesome but can be rigged at times; people add the sprinting perk and can knife you pretty quickly before you even get a chance to fire. I personally think it should take two knife hits for a kill, but it's still a fun game!

Agreed. It should definitely take a couple swipes to kill someone with the knife.
I've added an option in my mod to modify the damage from the knife, and all other weapons..
