Mcafee or Norton, when deciding for my upgrade i have narrowed it to these two, which do you prefer and why? Thanx

Ah, the battle of the very crappy Internet Security Suites. I personally hate both of them, either use ZoneAlarm and avast!/AVG or use your NAT enabled router and avast!/AVG and you'll be perfectly fine.

P.S. Throw in PeerGuardian 2 and you'll be ready to jetset.

I prefer Norton because McAfee gave me many computer performance problems. :(

well heres the deal
like i said before, avg is the best

BUT
if you really want to purchase an antivirus software,
pick norton. at the officemax where i live, it is only 29.99 US, and has a 10 dollar instant rebate, so its only 19.99 US. if you qualify for the mail in rebate, it'll be free!

norton gives you the same amount of bang but for less buck

I use Kaspersky. Pretty good if you have both the anti-virus and the anti-hacker app.

Or, you can also check out another free program called Ad-Aware SE. It has been introduced in many magazines and websites and has recieved better reviews than other pricey apps.

Norton, due to the fact that it is vastly more populated, and works much better.
