There isn't a best per se, it just depends on which one you're comfortable with :)

I'd have to say PHP, but if you know it and like it, ASP.NET and JSP outrun them all. I know some ASP.NET (Not enough to surpass PHP) and no JSP but they are better.

In what way would asp.net outrun php? JSP has a lot more flexibility than PHP though.

I can not say that PHP is the best as they all seem to be really good but its quite easy to code with and is supported by most hosting services.

I would say PHP , open source , easily available , very easy to learn . I know ASP is better than PHP in various aspects . JSP too .. But PHP rules this time ...

I'd say PHP as well. But I won't vote, cause I know very little of ASP and none of JSP, so I can't honestly say PHP is the best. It's just the only one I know. lol
It's very easy to learn and so far, I haven't found something I needed to do that it couldn't accomplish.

I have very little knowledge of ASP and nearly none of JSP so I will have to go with PHP!

But PHPdefinately better than ASP better because
1> light on server resources.
2> Easy to learn
3> extensive help and documentation available online
4> Free!!
