i would also go for the blog.. i hope you have heard about the CSS reboot.. One of the organiser has intergrated his WordPress blog with his homepage.. I even have a tutorial on how to do that.. I think it is also possible with your Nucleus CMS...

Me I think both look great, but I'd go for the blog one.
