I just created 2 addon domains for my account and one subdomain but when I create addon domain it adds subdomain to respective addon domain ? So is it like 3 (addon + subdomains) ?
So now I have used three subdomains (3/3) 2 for two addon domains and one for subdomain ...

On control panel I am getting one addon domain remaining (2/3). So is that third addon domain useless as it requires subdomain which I already used up ??

im guessing it has to do with how cpanel handles its addon domains. I bugged the admins once and got a deal with it, not much we can do response.

at first I thought this was peculiar, but then as i was looking in further, this is what cPanel describes as an add-on domain:
An addon domain allows you to reach a sub-domain when entering the name of the addon domain into a browser.

so technically, an addon domain makes a subdomain look like a toplevel domain
if you want to add a domain, but do not want it to reach a subdomain, I suggest using "Parked Domains"
