Why is my site always going up and down?

I have a site monitor,
and almost every morning around 3ish
The site goes down for 1 - 2 hrs.
Sometimes it goes down during the day?

Is someone hacking into my website,
or is it just x10Hosting?

It is unlikely that just your site will go down and not the entire server.
So it is just x10hosting.
During the night there are far fewer staff available which is why the server may go down for a longer time than during the day.
