Why is my site laggy?

My site seems to be laggy every once in a while and it seems to be getting worse. Is something happening with the server? Sometimes it will take forever to load and sometimes it will give a Server Error.

There are a number of reasons why your website may be sluggish from time to time. There is still a little bit of maintenance occurring on some of the servers, though that does not seem to be affecting many users. All of the free hosting servers are heavily loaded with accounts and during periods of high demand from a large number of users there could be some slowdowns.
