how can i setup wild card dns support for wordpress mu. my site is hosted in absoultenew.

when i choose blog1.site.com what i need to do? it says it need a dns entry like *.site.com

Free hosting has a limit for subdomains, therefore I don't think wildcard DNS is not possible as * is not a valid entry in cPanel.

I think your best bet with wordpress MU is to use the whatver.com/*** option.
