Windows Movie Maker error

Ok so I am trying to edit something with windows movie maker. zI try to import a picture or video or music and I get this error:

C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\My Documents\My Pictures\18542__claire_l[1].jpg could not be imported. Unspecified error

Also for the clips I already have in WMM i cnat add them to the timeline it just doesnt show up...


Can some1 help me?

This is a very longshot, but try removing "_" and "[" "]" from file name.

Also you could try reinstalling WMM (if it can be done standalone). If not, try windows repair.

Re-download the source image.. or just rename it. I've never received an error like that before
