It's natural that creating a bootable image of your hard drive is going to copy over in 5 minutes. It's a good idea if installing on hundreds of computers, but should only work if there all the same model. Otherwise your probably going to get configuration errors.

Windows 7 installation proccess is 3x faster than Windows XP. Why? Because Windows 7 installs data directly from DVD, unlike XP what copies the installation files into disk, then extracts and installing... Windows 7 installations usually tooks 20 minutes.
