Nice, I hope WinZip 10 licenses can be used for version 11... I'm not surprised they decided on adding RAR support.

WinZip? WinRAR? You all are living in the past.. the future is .7z!

If you haven't checked it out, check out http://www.7-zip.org/

Packing / unpacking: 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2 and TAR
Unpacking only: RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZH, CHM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB and NSIS

Pretty impressive for a <1 MB program..

I agree with Spartan Erik. I used to use WinZip, then WinRAR, now I've found 7-Zip. I find it a lot faster and easier to use (even though they're all the most simple programs in the world). But best of all it's free, and as we all pay for our software, this will give the better deal :).

Yes, you can use winzip 10 license to winzip 11.

Besides, I have tested winzip 11 for some time, but I find out that the compressed size is still quite big compared to .rar, at least 1KB different for small file, and nearly 1MB for 800MB file, not to mention that the speed is miles away compare to winrar. WINRAR win again!!!

Awesome! THis sounds like a better idea to license than the new winzip.
