If you mean, in windows to extract a .rar or .zip get winwar it will extract both and many more.

WinRar is the best, I don't think winzip extracts .rars.. winrar I use for rars, zips, pk3s.. and more.

on cpanal i think u can only extract zip, tar and linux file types..(things like .gz but i dont know...) u cant extract rar.

when creating the package, create it in zip format.

You can unzip .gz

There are a few more then that, all the ones known to work (by me) are

.zip
.tar
.gz
.bz2
.tar.gz
.tar.bz2

In the case of .tar.gz and .tar.bz2 it will extract all files out of the tarball not just the .tar file

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't!

Just delete the file off the server and re-upload it and try to unzip again.

That might work, I don't actually know!
