I'd like an update to PHP v2 (or v3) since I am using Wordpress and want it to function properly. Anyway, it freezes when upgrading or downloading themes.

Thanks.

Re: PHP v2

I really want to know where people keep finding this old information.

The PHP Version system we were using has not been in existence for around 2 years or so - everyone's on the equivalent of what PHP V2 (aka Intermediate PHP) would have been.

That said, what's not working right with wordpress, and we can try to tackle that at the same time?

Re: PHP v2

There is only one version of PHP on the Free Servers and that is sufficient to run WordPress, Joomla, etc.

Some plugins might have a problem because of the restrictions placed on PHP here because it is a shared environment, but most issues I have seen have been due to poorly written plugins.

Re: PHP v2

It freezes when extracting the archives so it's not related to the plugins I think.

I can't provide an url but it's the page where it installs themes.

Also, when i go back, i get this dreaded 500 error.

edit: it's "wp-admin/themes.php"

edit2: "wp-admin/update.php?action=install-theme&theme=graphene&_wpnonce=7ed98ee451"

This is the progress:
"Downloading install package from http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/download/graphene.1.0.9.3.zip…

Unpacking the package…"
And it stops there.
