wordpress index page error

hi..
i just installed wordpress ... no problem in instalation all but den... wen i try running ma site it shows me d default index page and not of wordpress. i have deleted the default index page in the root folder but it still shows up! .. any page other then the index page works fine!!!
any idea wy dis is?

try clearing your browser cache
