I installed Wordpress a few hours ago and see that the files have been installed , yet I cannot access /wp-admin and get a default web page on the site sublimeillusion.x10.mx , I installed Wordpress in the / (home) directory instead of /wp and have done this before on paid hosts. I am wondering if there is a delay in new accounts being shown or what the issue could be. I do see the files via an FTP browser so I cannot see why I am getting a 404, please help.
Thanks ,

Nothing to do with WordPress.
Default page shown while a new account is being set up, which can take 24-48 hrs because there are so many new accounts.
Patience and clear browser cache & history before checking your site.

I am having the same problem!! I have looked for two days for an answer and came across this thread. It would be nice if this information would be in the set up page or some other place so new users don't waste their time looking for an answer! I understand its free hosting trying to get free users to upgrade, but i don't have to wait for 48 hours on any other free hosting site. I used zymic for another site. when it was finished, i moved it to go daddy. their service was great! I am trying to setup another site using joomla and need to get it worked out before i buy a domain and pay for hosting, but a 48 hour wait for things makes me think this is not the place?
