Wordpress Installation Error!

Hi! I was just trying to install wordpress, but I got the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /home/shiweb/public_html/blog/wp-admin/includes/update.php on line 233

I'm not that good with php and so I have no idea what's wrong! Please help

EDIT: I just noticed that it installs fine when I try to access the page without the subdomain, but only shows the error if I access it through a subdomain... Could it be that the PHP version of my subdomain hasn't updated yet?

That is why you got that error. If you add a subdomain it takes another 6-24 hours for that domain to be upgraded to Intermediate.
