Has anyone here installed Wordpress on their site, if you have I would really appreciate some tips, as I cannot seem to get it working, and I think that the issues are with either DB permissions, or php because I'm not wonderful at either.

I have installed Wordpress and successfully running my blog there. Check it out at http://ipo.investorsouk.com/

Only problem I faced when I installed was that I was getting php error. That got solved by getting php version upgraded.

If you can elaborate little then may be someone or I may be able to help. Provide error you are getting or step you are following & where you are exactly getting stuck.

is a PHP version upgrade something you have to pay for?

No. x10hosting team is very kind enough to do it for free. However you have to first figure what is the exact problem because I was under impression that recently they have upgraded PHP version for all the accounts.

What is your URL? I will check out your installation. I've successfully deployed Wordpress many times before.
