I just started my account and uploaded only a "index.html" file and the embedded index.swf file. (to the "public_html" folder.
Then checking my site I see www has been populated with my files but typing the URL in the browser www or without www they have different content.
Neither seem to be the correct content, My Browsers/PC Cache is clear.
Is there a server CACHE problem here......which folder do these file belong? Strange..... if I open CPanel and look at the folder tree "public_html" and "www" appear to be different folders but copying from one to the other it says the source and destination are the same!

Can you help me with this please. Thanks

WWW is a "symlink" to public_html - some ftp/web design software uses www, others use public_html, so it's set up that both directories show the same content. Dunno what's actually causing the problem with them showing differently though, but it's not that.

I think what is going on is a Cache problem....even when uploading and overwriting files I still see the old content. I do all I can to insure that it is not with my PC (Cache, etc) but changes take effect sometimes a couple of days after I have modified the site

Again, clear your browser's cache and history before looking at new content.

Also, some ISPs cache content.

One way to force new content is to use example.com/index.html?foo ... the ?foo is discarded by the server but it looks like a new page to caching programs so you should get current content.
