Hey

I was wondering, how do you progress to the next rank?

You mean the user titles? i.e. Lieutenant, Elder, etc?

It's all based on the number of posts you have

Take a look at the post count of others that have higher ranks.

I don't know 400-500?

Edit: You'll be an elder when you reach 500p

Kewl, got about 300 more to go then!

EDIT: I think that posts should count when you post in the introduction area!

Haha, so you could post a simple post saying "Welcome"? The rules for that aren't likely to change.

I agree with randomize, but it would have to be regulated (2 lines plus, no copy pasting, etc)

I disagree. Why should people get forum points which can be used to purchase things by posting a simple "Welcome to x10Hosting". It doesn't take much thought to welcome a person in. Maybe this should be in Crossfire... ;)

Again i use my argument that "A post is a post"

However, there should be regulations, such as that the post has to be at least 5 lines long for the person creating the introduction, that way they get their first set of points like 5 points etc.

Then, it should be that for everytime someone replys to an introduction they only get like 2 points, wheras on all other posts you get 3 or 5, or whatever it is.

If you believe this topic should be in the cross fire section, then move it there please.

This is getting really off topic. I don't think the rules will change anytime soon. CLOSED.

Actually that's how the whole forum works, you get points based on how much you write. I'm opening this back in case somebody has questions about points. Please just don't get out of topic.

Lol no you do NOT get points for posting in the introductions subforum.. Alejandro just mentioned that you get more points for more characters that you type per post (excluding introductions subforum)
