x10Hosting Official Game Server Online

Hi Everyone!,

Thanks to all the votes we've went ahead and purchased the first x10Gaming server. Thanks to a ton of help from Chris73 we've put up a dedicated x10 CS:S server open to the public. We will be having tournaments and the such in the coming weeks .

We will also be launching some dedicated x10 game servers for other games, not yet decided.

The goal is to offer game servers to the x10 community, we haven't exactly decided on how we're going to do this yet because obviously a game server takes up a lot more resources than a hosting account. There will be some polls in the coming days to get ideas for this.

There will be a post in a few hours with connection details to the CS server for anyone interested in playing.

If you're interested in getting your own game server please drop in over the next few days to get the latest updates.

Well he wants to see how this server runs. That is why we need help from anyone that has counter-strike source to hop on with there friends. I want to see the servers reaction to having all 20 slots filled.

Then once he(Corey) decides that this is what he wants. Then documentation will soon follow.

Right now this is basically a server test.

They might be an option later like Corey mentioned above. He is really testing the needs and wants of the community. CS:S also has a lot of players so it was easy to choose CS:S.
Corey also mentioned that polls would be run in the future for the types of game servers people would want.

But i have to agree that there would have to be a need and want before " I " would waste my time.

So that is why he is asking you all to take the time and test the server. If the server works well and people start wanting to see more game servers with different games. He takes all this information into consideration.

So my point is get to testing out the current game server and voice feedback .

Of the few players i have talked to so far they liked it and one has made a suggestion.
That is why i made a Poll. It's feedback that will help him in his decisions.

Hey guys,what about a dedicated server for the IL-2 Sturmovik 1946?
I mean this game is the most popular in the virtual air-battles games for the world war two.

I want to test. Really want. But i have only CS1.6 and CS: Condition Zero.
