i just want to know why it gives me the message:

"
An Error Has Occurred
We're sorry, but we currently block requests from your country.
"
So... What should i do? I want to use cPanel and upload my site

Do x10Hosting banned brazilian IP's?

ps.: I'm in Brazil.

I am not sure about brazil, but I believe they have in place something that will bans IPs from known spamming countries ... not entirely sure Brazil is on that list though!

hmm..then started TODAY, never in all time i am at x10, that happened.


Just for admins know, if you blocked an IP from brazil, you cant block the person you want. Here all IP's are Dynamic, then, just a reboot of modem can give you a new IP. Only in Companies that you can ask internet provider to give you a static one.

So, i am thinking mabe the modem here got an blocked IP. But the message is general, "to your country" so, im not sure. (i cant test rebooting modem since im in a company [with dynamic IP] but i have no access to the modem.)

Well that was a guess, I am not entirely sure at that one! You should wait for an Admin to confirm!

I have posted a message to the admins asking that they come and look into this thread.
I can't say I have a time frame on when they will get to it, as they are dealing with a lot of server and hosting related issues, but will try and get them here in a timely manner.

We have blocked all countries that have a high risk rate for fraud and spamming. Brazil is in the top 10 list. I will look into how we can allow certain people through the block.

So, while that, can i have your word that my account will not be blocked, deleted, suspended or anything? (since i cannot access and add my website n' ad)

I wanted to upload at least a "Page under construction" page with the Ads already.

FTP: I think that is your URL (without ftp; ie enxlover.x10hosting.com), your cPanel username and password; port 21, default one.

Yes, you should beable to access everything accept sign-ups and possibly our custom hosting panel. FTP, cPanel, your site should all work for you.
