So what do you guys think, xanga or myspace?

--My Opinion--
Xanga, because they extremely easy to code, and very simple customization for newbies, plus, you see alot fancier layouts on here, because myspace is better for groups//bands, which really dont need much work, cept Shows Merch. and pics

why? they both suck!
its all about hardcore html and css programming in notepad to make a webpage

no lousy lagging layouts for me!

lol, most of my layouts are purely photoshop + imageready, with coding of course, i dont know css, besides basic link + scroll bar, what else is it good for?

lol well if you use alot of iframes to organize your website layout, you can compile them in css so you wont have to copy-paste the same iframe html coding into every html document

some people find it easier by putting iframe coding into css, but i usually just stick it in html; im too lazy to do exceptions

you can also control font sizes, etc with css
its like html but more widespread, less work, and can apply to any html doc quite easily

MySpace for me. Mostly because I don't know anyone that uses Xanga, and the name is kinda... lame.

XANGA is a million times better than MYSPACE

REASONS:

1.) you can edit and design a layout for xanga with pictures and music and anything you can dream of. You can incode iframes into the CLAF page (Look and Feel).

2.) The layout is much better than MYSPACE.

3.) USE XANGA!

lol xangas have way too much lag.. even without music they lag bad enough already.

layout is horrible, its all the same lousy noob junk

Xanga does lag a lot. :)


I can almost completely change every aspect of my MySpace profile with CSS. It's not thatttt hard.. :p

id use myspace....its loads better...because you like cant use any of the good skins... but myspace people make stuff for you to make your own myspace skin....like thomas's etc....

If you actually spent enough time on either Xanga or Myspace to make friends, then you probably would be a fat person (unless you have a rather high metabolism).

Honestly, I don't think either of them are worth bothering with. Who needs internet networking when life by itself is more than enough?

I honestly think myspace and xanga are dumb, along with free webs and all that other crap. I think it's just a waste of time. Why make a myspace etc when you can make a real wepbage without half the restrictions and it will look better. The same goes for freewebs etc, I hate it when people say they've made a webpage or know HTML etc, when they make something in freewebs. You know nothing but how to insert images and text. I know this not be true for all people but still. I just think there all lazy/crappy ways of making a wanna be webpage. And that is my opinion.

I never used Xanga before, but i have a myspace
I'll admit that the codes are pretty complicated for it, but i think it's better since its quite popular, and it allows ppl to communicate better. Plus they have photo galleries, and special sections to get to know ppl.

Hmm, I have an Xanga but don't use it too oftenly. I'm mostly with Hyper89 and all the people who think it's a waste of time, but yet, I do it..

I'm trying to set up my new Myspace profile but I'm being a major slack off so I have no idea how that will go..
