Xbox 360 Warranty Extended to 3 Years!

Cost for Microsoft? Upwards of $1 billion. I feel sorry for the gaming division of Microsoft; they haven't made any profit yet from sales of 360's, XBL subscriptions, games, and overpriced accessories!

Nevertheless it's great news for 360 owners!

its sucks because they announced it a week after i paid for my repairs. Now i will have to wait 10-12 weeks for a refund. But its still great news!

More then a good news, my friends have it and went to repair almost 10 time and he don't even have a console more then a year! He say that he hope they fix that bug's and missing on it :lockd:

Yes I have had mine since christmas and it has gone back 6 times so far due to glitches in the software!! So im glad that it has been extended to 3 years so if it was to go after the original year, I would be able to continue to send it back for more tests....

Its excellent news.

But a couple of things to note; the total hardware warranty is still only one year. But then there is an extra 2 year warranty against any general hardware failures (ie, when it goes to 3 red lights AKA The ring of death).

But, its still good news. *touches wood* Mine is still going strong, although hot and loud.
