Even though they may be overkill, when it comes down to performance in system general, they typically lead to faster processing times than the non-extreme series of Intel processors. Put enough support into 4 core CPU setups and look at all that power you have to play with.

It could be somewhat extreme, but so what, one things for sure, it will be something you are glad you own in the future when you don't have to upgrade as soon because you got a little overkill in the past.:biggrin:

Like me. My gaming computer itself is overkill, but since I upgrade it every two months, it at least assures me if I ever get short on funds, I have a few years of legroom in front of me.

What's wrong with doing that? I sell my old parts, get new parts, even if it is as simple as a new fan or LED light gone bad ;). Even that, it wasn't every two months, I'm exagerating there!
