Hi folks!

I manage a podcast in one of your great free spaces and inside loudblog (the php module which controls the podcast) i modified an html file /podcast/loudblog/custom/templates/soundsok/index.html . The modification was simple, only adding a few links to the page, action which I made many times before, without a problem. Now this time all the podcast has turned into a pretty white page with a 500 Internal Server Error. Seeing the problem, I cancelled all the changes I made on that HTML file and uploaded again, but the error was still there. I looked then on my cpanel, on the error log, and I saw that the error was because the HTML file had no permissions to execute itself, but this file's CHMOD is 777, so... ¿Do you know how to fix this mess ?

Thank you very much, guys, at last a good free webspace on the net :)

http://eminemix.x10hosting.com/test/
just modified a simple thing, and i get the 500 error all the time
i deleted all my stuff and uploaded again, and still :(

WOOAH COWBOY SLOW DOWN. You dont need to re-upload, at all. Its a temporary error.

777 permissions bring on an error anyway, but 757 are fine, it allows the script to be writable without throwing up an error.

For most things you only need 755 anyway.
