I added a domain and I made it the default domain. Up to this point I'm fine. However, the system made the comment:

Your domain registar will require one of the following record types to setup your new domain (then it provided record types, I redacted this since my question is more basic)

Questions..
(1) Is registar a site "you pay" for a domain name to use for X period of time.
(2) And if (1) is true can anybody recommend a reliable inexpensive sites for me.
(3) And.if (1) is false and you don't need "to pay" a registar to setup a domain, is url of such site or is there a workaround to avoid paying.(lack credit card).

Sincerely, cibnorNews

for websites you ca break it down to 2 areas.
1- the hosting account (your x10 hosted site for example)
2 the domain name (your www URL)

the hosting sites like x10 provide a free domain name option.
you could also purchase a domain name like mysite.com which would cost you a little money each year.

if you want your own domain name like mysite.com you can find registars for that name.

there is usually no workaround for purchasing a domain name without a credit card.
most use this for any kind of auto renew options.
