Did you pay for your rig?

If so, fantastic. Haha.

Also, should I still be keeping an eye out for that PM?

all of you guys are freakin spoiled :nono:

I have a crappy integrated Intel "Extreme" Graphics 64 mb card, average frame rate, 22 FPS,:sadwavey:

plus theres this time I went out and bought an AGP 16X( i think) Nvidia GeForce 6800 256mb, way back when I was a nubsteroo. and the only thing that didn't make my day was, I only had a nooby motherboard with only PCI expansion slots. so I went out like 2 weeks later and bought a PCI ATI Radeon 9250, which ended up sucking, because I figured out why many cards are manufactured to be used with AGP or PCI-e, because data transfer time between PCI expansion slots and the actual hardware is super-dee-duper-dee slow. so yeah, I got pissed off.

Last time I checked GeForce 5200+ (128MB) = 40fps.

I know - I'm getting a new pc - top of the line.

Average frame rate, 1,000fps. Then again my pc is so crappy I can't play much more than those cpp console based text rpg's, which explains the high frame rate.

Average frame rate on anything involving graphics, be it 2d or 3d: uhhh...5. Lets not go there, ok? Soldat freakin' lags and thats 2d. UT2004 lags and thats 3d. The godfather lags to no end and it's 3d. Ironically, Dungeon Keeper 2 (my favorite game) runs calmly at 45.

Basically I'm trying to say if you get more than 10fps in most popular video games, you got it good :p Have fun and think of the rest of us lowly pc lovers (we love what we can't have and hate what we do have) down here :p

Addon: CounterStrike? There is no counter to the strike. By the time I finish loading the level, the next map is starting. On the off chance that I do actually get in, I get maybe 10fps if I'm not moving, breathing, and theres no one SHOOTING...Yea...If I am struck with a bullet, I get maybe 1fpm while I get me backside handed to me on a silver platter :hsughr:
