I'm receiving the error "Zend Optimizer does not support this version of PHP" on my Joomla host. Can it be upgraded on the free server? Thanks!

Can you not turn it off in Joomla. Upgrading zend optimizer is not necessarily a priority right at the present moment but maybe in a short while. ;)

Actually I think it would be PHP that would need to be upgraded, judging by the error he got... but that would be rather wierd since we are only 0.0.1 version behind PHP, right?

Maybe it's optional...? MLeeper, try disabling Zend if you can find an option to do so.

Zend Optimizer is for encoded scripts, are you running an encoded script?

Thats the point -- unless he's got an encoded component, Joomla is Open Source -- why would they encode their scripts?
