I just purchased a .com domain. It's ready to go, but when I try to park it, I get this:

Sorry, cannot determine nameserver IPs. Please make sure that the domain is registered with a valid domain registrar.

I have already changed the nameservers on my new domain to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com

How long does it take until I can park my domain?

Hello, sorry for the delay. My domain is www.arytek.com. I purchased the domain through GoDaddy only because I got a GREAT deal on it. I changed the nameservers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com. It's still not letting me park it.

That is what I thought it was, you need to update your name servers again, it does not seem like they are set to x10hosting name servers.

Name Server: NS1.MAIN-H00STING.COM Name Server: NS2.MAIN-H00STING.COM Name Server: NS3.MAIN-H00STING.COM Name Server: NS4.MAIN-H00STING.COM

I have my name servers updated. They've been updated for a few hours.

Hello, I have checked using another source and it seems that now the name servers are pointed correctly. Please go ahead and try adding the parked domain name again as they were not set to the correct name servers yesterday when I checked.

DNS propogation can take up to 72 hours to take affect. However, it's showing on my end that your nameservers are set correctly.

The problem, is that the external DNS provider for our servers (which is google's public DNS) hasn't propagated this change, therefore, the servers don't know that the nameservers are set correctly.

Code:
> set q=ns
> arytek.com
Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.1.1

DNS request timed out.
    timeout was 2 seconds.
Non-authoritative answer:
arytek.com nameserver = ns1.x10hosting.com
arytek.com nameserver = ns2.x10hosting.com
> set root=8.8.8.8
> root
Default Server: google-public-dns-a.google.com
Address: 8.8.8.8

> arytek.com
Server: google-public-dns-a.google.com
Address: 8.8.8.8

*** google-public-dns-a.google.com can't find arytek.com: Server failed

Hopefully they change soon. I would like to get my website up and running. It's only available in Malaysia and Russia. Hopefully it will soon update to the US.

Are there IP addresses to set up an A record for my website instead of using the name servers?

You must use our nameservers in order to have your domain point to the correct website.

This is resolved, and we've added the domain into your account.
