Can't connect for FTP, why?

Just signed up and would like to put up my site. Every time I try to connect to Absolut.x10 using FileZilla, I get this message:

Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".

So, am I doing something wrong or is FTP just not working?

are you connecting to "absolut.x10" or "absolut.x10hosting.com" ??

Literally, I'm trying to connect to "absolut.x10hosting.com", and I'm now getting this:

Waiting to retry...
Status: Resolving address of absolut.x10hosting.com
Status: Connecting to 216.245.208.154:216...
Status: Connection attempt failed with "ETIMEDOUT - Connection attempt timed out".
Error: Could not connect to server
