Renewing IP Address in Windows XP

    Renewing IP Address in Windows XP

    Step 1:

    Open Command Prompt: Go to Start > Run > Type CMD then press enter

    Step 2:

    Use the following command:

    Code:
    ipconfig /release
    Step 3:

    Use the following command:

    Code:
    ipconfig /renew
    Your IP Address is successfully renewed...

    i think thats a nice tip but....
    doesnt work on my XP dunno why :p

    Pretty nice, but all I to do to refresh everything is go to my modem control area click disconnect then reconnect and everything is refreshed. :lol:

    i know that for some ppl it doesnt work, and for it to, u need to unplug ur modem for the night, i know that works :p. but this is usefull if ur getting ip banned from somewhere :p

    Or you could wait for a long blackout. That would be quite similar. Maplestory IP ban ftw lol.
