I renamed and relaunched my radio. It is named For Your Enjoyment Radio. I need some DJs. The music style does not matter. The server is a shoutcast server. If you want to do a talk show, that would be great also. Please reply or send me a pm with the following info

Name/Nickname:
How I can contact you:
Type of music:
When you can stream:

Thank you!

Do you have a license? If the server is located in U.S., you need a license, or this won't be permitted on x10 as it is illegal.

Running a Radio in the US is like running a Nulled vB in the US, IT IS ILLEGAL.

You need a license? Never knew that. I have permission to use all of the music I play.
SEÑOR told me that's only for over 1000 listeners.

Yes but the government passed a new act stating that they will start random checks of radio stations. There are big fines and penalty's if you don't, plus the publisher can sue you, over the government.

If you have permission, and IT isn't your work, the government still requires a fee for playing it.

If IT is for a TALK SHOW or YOUR OWN MUSIC you don't need one.

Isn't that what I basically said above? Loudcity covers the license fees and by paying it, protects you by covering you under their license. Just read the link I gave. They explain how they can cover you to broadcast.

So just to make sure I understood this right,
In order to have a shoutcast station that plays music that I have permission from the authors to use, I need to purchase a license? Somehow that doesn't seem fair.

Well, if you have any questions about weather you can use the content, please consult a lawyer. We are not legal experts, this is what I have read about various hosts. They are now trying to push you need a liscence to get a server, so we'll have to wait and see.

TO my knowledge you only need a licsense if you broadcast to over 1000+ listeners. And I can guarantee you the American government will not be checking radios that have less than that per show...

Check out that link I provided ( I think it was here that I did ) ... if not, look up www.loudcity.net and look into their info on broadcasting and needing a license.
