A suggestion

Perhaps you should include a remove your cPanel account from your forum account link?

For those who still have forum accounts but not hosting any more. Like I have my forums account but not my hosting account, but is still listed under account panel!

This is a pretty good idea, and since there is a lot of backend changes going on right now, it'd probably be a convenient time to implement it .

It *should* say your account was terminated and ask you to relink a new one if possible.

Nope it doesnt at the moment. It states myt account is suspended. But that aint true as I aint touched the account in months!

Have you actually tried going to the account to see if it is still there?

But anyway, the idea of it showing that the hosting was terminated and unlinking it is a solid one. If thats not already there, haven't been in that situation myself.
