How to change the index?

Ok , i went to my host website : http://samgunz.pcriot.com . next,
i saw a welcome page and asked me to change index . thx to starshine i manage to go to cpanel what do i do next?

Delete it and upload your own.

How about we start at the beginning and find out what you want on your website before we get into changing anything on the host first.

What is it you are wanting on your website? A blog? CMS ( like Joomla, Nuke, Drupal ) ... a forum?

Ahh. This will be easy then.
Delete the index.html from in your file manager.

Then, click on Fantastico ... and pick one of the forum softwares listed ( SMF, PhpBB, etc ) ... and follow the instructions for setting it up.
